Right now everything works perfectly fine in the editor, however, whenever I build the application the custom key bindings it does not work.
I have tried to rebuild it with different settings, as I have resaved the bindings to see if that would fix the issue.
Virtual controller mapping stopped working

For a guided troubleshooting experience, please visit the SteamVR help site. In some environments, the audio extension cable of the Vive headset can build up static electricity and deliver a small static shock when touched or when used with certain earbuds. This does not necessarily indicate an issue with your Vive - it happens for the same reason that shuffling your feet across carpet and touching a door knob causes a static shock.

You may see one of these errors if you are not connected to your machine's dedicated graphics card. Please make sure that both the Vive's link box and your primary display are connected to the same GPU. You may need to set your machine to "prefer maximum performance. Additionally, if you have multiple graphics cards in a desktop PC, make sure that the Vive and your primary display are connected to the same card.
Some users have reported that connecting their primary monitor over DVI causes issues next to the Vive. Try using a display port or HDMI connection. If you've tried all of the above and continue to have issues, your USB chipset may be at fault. Error is a generic HMD error message.
This error can have a number of solutions, so please work from the list below to make sure you've attempted all available solutions:. If your base stations aren't working correctly, make sure they are properly set up for optical sync. When in-headset the displays go grey when your headset loses tracking. Check the following if you are having tracking issues:. I tried opting out of the SteamVR beta and restarfting but it didn't fix it. At times an option to pick an input proifle is there but there wasn't any profiles for most games. There was one for SkrimVR but it didn't work either. I contacted support about 8 hours but I haven't heart anything yet.
Showing 1 - 15 of 21 comments. Same has happened to me. I am unable to play any game through steam now using my WMR headset I wasn't part of the beta program and it happened so I opted in to see if it would fix it with no luck.

Vampariz View Profile View Posts. Same thing with me, I have a Dell Visor and it will work anywhere except in the steam games. The SteamVR Input beta appears to be impacting everyone. A change on that front has broken WMR mappings, and the site you'd load to maintain it is basically shot as well.
You'll have to go to "Controller Bindings" in your SteamVR Settings page, and select an existing mapping if it's there. Valve needs to roll this update back. I know this is beta, but bugs this breaking are alpha-level issues that shouldn't get past internal testing.
I hope they roll it back or fix it soon. Nothing on Steam is playable as it is. Pretty sloppy work.King of gods novel download

Hello, I am using Unity I have set up the SteamVR input and everything. I have tried everything including making a new project. Even when I attach a script to debug buttons, it doesn't show any debug logs. I have the same problem. The controller model doesn't render and no tracking is occuring.
I have set up action in the input. The transform of both controllers stay 0,0,0 but they work in games and are tracking in steam VR.

It is still working with Vive controller, so this looks like an issue with driver4VR… Is it possible to have the previous version to test if it is still working? This may be related to my earlier issue in which no snap turning was working. I uninstalled, and then installed an older version and it works. I sent an email and am waiting to hear back.
I did not jeep it ans dis not fond a way to download one from the site or the forum…. And yes I did update as well. I updated straight after to get rid of the promt, and I guess that was it.

The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic. It should work, you just have to set up bindings. You can do this in VR, or on your desktop. There are some actions deemed "Mandatory" that you will need to assign Grab and Main Menuand a lot more that are "Suggested". Of course, you are free to bind everything to suit yourself, and if you make a good layout you can upload to the workshop for others to use too.
